OCEANS FROM THE SKY

A bit about me….

Hi and welcome to my website, Im really glad you're taking a look at what I do and why.

I discovered that I loved working with natural elements and waste products after being banished to a shed while a building project was going on in my home. I ended up creating a very large piece that I called ‘The Build’ , using left over builders materials . I absolutely loved the process and the result and I haven’’t looked back since!

Working form my studio on the south coast of England I feel really inspired by my own environment but also the environmentalists, photographers and artists from around the globe and I'm particularly drawn to satellite imagery and drone photography .

I also love being part of a thriving artisan environment in my home town of Chichester and enjoy taking part in local events and getting to know and support other local artists.

When you scroll through my gallery you’ll see how I interpret the movement, chaotic beauty and constant transformation of Earth, particularly the oceans. Some of my work has an ecological story underpinning the painting . These pieces are nearly all from my imagination, either satellite style or from beneath the surface; I rarely copy an image, unless it is a commissioned work.

I also like to just paint with a joy of colour, shape and mood……

…..Happy browsing!
